On Monday night, Packers running back Eddie Lacy took a helmet to the hip. On Sunday, he’ll nevertheless take his hip (and his helmet) back to the field for a game against the Bills.
Albert Breer of NFL Media reports that Lacy will play (as the “probable” designation suggests), but that his workload will be monitored.
It means that, if Lacy shows any signs of struggling, the Packers could use less Lacy and more James Starks.
The Packers need to keep winning in order to have a chance at home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Bills need to start winning to have a chance at making it to the playoffs -- and possibly to keep coach Doug Marrone from being fired.
