The Falcons have added a pair of defensive players.

Atlanta has reached deals with defensive end Adrian Clayborn and cornerback Phillip Adams, the team said Thursday.

The 26-year-old Clayborn notched 109 tackles and 13 sacks in four seasons with Tampa Bay (2011-2014). He missed all but one game a season ago because of a torn biceps injury. Clayborn was PFT’s 77th-ranked free agent.

Adams, 26, will compete for a reserve role in the secondary. He played 12 games for the Jets in 2014, recording 24 tackles and intercepting one pass. He has also appeared in regular season games for the Raiders, Seahawks, Patriots and 49ers.
