A pass-catching tight end could be on Atlanta’s radar in free agency.
The Falcons look to have interest in the Rams’ Lance Kendricks, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Tuesday.
D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution has also reported the Falcons are keeping tabs on Kendricks.
Kendricks, 27, started 51-of-62 games for St. Louis in four seasons, catching 129 passes for 1,388 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Kendricks (6-3, 250) ranks 5th among tight ends and 96th overall in PFT’s ratings of the top free agents of 2015. In Atlanta, Kendricks would provide a nice complement to third-year pro Levine Toilolo (6-8, 265).
