It previously was determined that Falcons offensive lineman Quinn Ojinnaka would not play for the Falcons in Week 1, as a consequence for his 2009 arrest for simple battery of his wife.
Now, Ojinnaka won’t play in the rest of them.
Adam Caplan of FOXSports.com reports that the Falcons have traded Ojinnaka to the Patriots, for undisclosed compensation.
The suspension goes with Ojinnaka, so he’ll be unavailable for the first game of the season.
The move gives the Pats some extra depth, given the injury to Nick Kaczur and holdout of Logan Mankins.
