Earlier this week, Jason Whitlock of FOXSports.com predicted that, if the Vikings continue to lose games, quarterback Brett Favre eventually will put himself on injured reserve.
And if that strategy is indeed on the table, Favre and/or the Vikings have more evidence that would make the move plausible -- Favre was limited in practice on Thursday with an ankle injury.
Favre also has a right elbow injury, according to the official injury report.
On Wednesday, Favre fully participated in practice with an ankle injury. There was no mention of a right elbow injury -- and there was no limitation in practice -- until after the window closed on trading for Chargers receiver Vincent Jackson.
Surely, that’s a coincidence.
