Gary Kubiak back at work after a week off

The Texans haven’t found many answers, but they at least have their coach back.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Kubiak returned to the team facility and is working today, after being hospitalized just over a week ago with a stroke-like attack.

He’s not planning on working a full day, as he continues to creep back in. He visited practice last week, and spent plenty of time on the phone with his coordinators during his short absence.

The Texans lost to the Cardinals yesterday, falling to 2-7. They’ve lost seven in a row, benched their starting quarterback, put their star running back on injured reserve and benched their prize free agent addition.

While Kubiak might not be able to fix all that, the fact he’s feeling well enough to try is a good sign, so long as he’s doing it within the recommendations of his doctors.
