The well-traveled quarterback Logan Thomas is on his way to New York.
Thomas has been awarded to the Giants on waivers.
The Dolphins waived Thomas yesterday. He had spent several months in Miami, first on the practice squad and then on the 53-man roster late in the season, but he never played for the Dolphins.
A fourth-round pick of the Cardinals in 2014, Thomas’s career hasn’t amounted to much. He has completed just one pass so far in his NFL career, although that one was an 81-yard touchdown.
With the Giants Thomas will compete with BJ Daniels and Ryan Nassib for a backup spot behind Eli Manning.
