The Giants spent the big money fast as they attempt to remake their defense, but they still need more bodies. One of them could be on the way.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Cardinals free agent cornerback Jerraud Powers is visiting the Giants tomorrow, and could take more visits after that.

Powers has been a solid and inoffensive starter for both the Colts and Cardinals in his seven seasons, with 82 starts. But after they signed safety Tyvon Branch, the Cards appear intent on freshening up the secondary, letting safety Rashad Johnson walk in free agency as well.

The Giants signed Janoris Jenkins as part of their free agent splurge, clearing the way for Prince Amukamara to leave for Jacksonville.
