The roller coaster ride that has become the push for a Vikings stadium continues to twist and turn and climb and drop. A day after it appeared that the plan was dead in the water, thanks to fresh opposition to a special session later this month, Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton and legislative leaders have now vowed to get the project approved.
Per Pat Kessler of WCCO-TV, Dayton and GOP lawmakers have pledged to pass a stadium bill, with gaming as the primary funding source.
After a couple of days of bad news, that’s good news. But there likely will be more bad news. Then good news. Then bad news. Then finally a decision.
