The Texans may have to rely on Rex Grossman to keep their season alive. (Gulp.)
Matt Schaub went to the locker room with an undisclosed injury early in the first quarter Sunday.
Schaub has a left shoulder injury and is officially questionable to return. CBS, however, says he’s not likely to return. Schaub was in a lot of pain as he headed to the locker room.
Grossman’s second attempt was a wobbly pass that was picked off.
The Texans defense bailed Grossman out with an incredible goal line stand, stuffing Maurice Jones-Drew three times at the goal line.
But to keep their playoff hopes alive, it looks like Grossman will have to bail out the Texans.
