Raiders quarterback Derek Carr is sitting out Organized Team Activities with an injury.
Coach Jack Del Rio confirmed that Carr couldn’t go today but declined to offer any details about what kind of injury he suffered. Del Rio indicated that the injury is nothing that will linger into the season.
“Time missed in May is better than time missed in September,” Del Rio said, via CSNBayArea.com. “You’re often more capable of taking whatever time is necessary to make sure you put things behind you.”
With Carr out, Christian Ponder is working with the first-string offense, while Matt McGloin and Cody Fajardo are the backups.
