The Jaguars were at least able to even the scoreboard on offseason arrests this week.

The same day running back Denard Robinson was cited for careless driving (but excellent submarine piloting), Jaguars linebacker Dan Skuta learned he would not face charges from his arrest in Orlando last month.

According to Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union, a notice of no charges was posted by the Orange County Clerk’s office.

“From the investigation which has been made, it is the opinion of the writer that this case is not suitable for prosecution,” the notice read.

Skuta was arrested for misdemeanor first-degree battery on June 19 for an incident with a woman outside a bar.

His lawyer said then the veteran linebacker was the victim, not the aggressor, and the court apparently agreed — or at least didn’t see enough reason to pursue the case.
