Jared Goff doesn’t wait long to throw his second career touchdown

If the Rams were waiting for Jared Goff to be ready, he apparently is today.

The Rams went up 14-7 on the Saints on Goff’s second career touchdown pass, a quick turnaround off a Saints turnover.

After Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald blew up the middle of the Saints line and forced a Drew Brees fumble, Goff answered on the next play with a quick touchdown pass to Kenny Britt.

Goff is a clean 7-of-11 for 91 yards, and certainly the Saints are a little more amenable to crisp passing than the Dolphins were a week ago. But Goff is building some confidence on the road, and making people wonder why the Rams stuck with Case Keenum so long.
