NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and the entire of the NFL’s executive labor committee have arrived at the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service for Friday’s vital day of negotiations.

On the way in to the building, Goodell said, as he usually does, “We are going to work hard.”

NFL lead negotiator Jeff Pash said, “We’re going to do our best.”

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, as he often does, let a little more slip out.

“Hopefully we will have something for you in an hour or two,” Jones said via Daniel Kaplan of the Sports Business Journal.

I’ve given up guessing what that “something” will be, as the state of negotiations seems to change by the hour.
