New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s trip to Dallas to cavort in Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’s luxury box last Sunday wasn’t too popular with the many Eagles and Giants fans that live in the Garden State, but the Cowboys won and Jones wants to give Christie’s constituents something else to be upset about this Sunday.

During a Tuesday appearance on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas, Jones said that he can’t imagine not having Christie join the team in Green Bay as they try to upset the Packers at Lambeau Field.

“He’s a Cowboy fan through and through. I met him through the Cowboys, and I’m excited about it. He’s part of our mojo. I want him there all the way,” Jones said. “I don’t know how we in anyway can think about going up there without having him -- with the way we’re playing, and the mojo.”

Christie is fielding questions about potential impropriety involving his trip to Dallas and relationship with Jones, but has denied any wrongdoing so there presumably wouldn’t be anything stopping him from joining up with the Cowboys in Wisconsin.
