Ryan Clady has been on the injury report most of the season, and now, they won’t have to wonder about whether he’ll be ready to go.

The Jets announced that they put their left tackle on injured reserve, after he didn’t play last week against the Dolphins. He initially suffered a shoulder injury against the Chiefs in Week Three, and didn’t practice at all last week. He was active but didn’t play offense against the Dolphins.

A league source tells PFT Clady has a rotator cuff injury.

Clady was acquired this offseason to replace D’Brickashaw Ferguson, and his absence creates another issue for a team with multiple problems on offense beginning with erratic quarterback play.

The Jets also activated wide receiver Devin Smith from the physically unable to perform list, waived defensive tackle Jarvis Jenkins and signed defensive tackle Anthony Johnson off the Patriots practice squad.

Smith, their second-round pick last year, wasn’t ready to open the season after last season’s knee injury.
