The Jets are losing their V.P. of college scouting, Joey Clinkscales, who is leaving to work for the Raiders.

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News confirms that the deal is done for Clinkscales to head to Oakland and work for General Manager Reggie McKenzie, who was his college teammate at Tennessee.

Prior to the draft reports indicated that Clinkscales was likely to leave New York and head to Oakland as soon as the draft was over, although Clinkscales claimed after those reports surfaced that he expected to remain with the Jets.

Clinkscales has been with the Jets in various capacities for 17 seasons. For the last four years he has overseen the college scouting department.
