The Dolphins were one of the teams believed to have interest in cornerback Adam Jones before Jones re-signed with the Bengals on Wednesday and they’ve now moved on to other options.

PFT has learned, via a league source, that the Dolphins are visiting with cornerback Josh Robinson. Robinson, a 2012 third-round pick, has spent his entire career with the Vikings.

Robinson missed most of last season while recovering from a partially torn pectoral muscle, but returned for five games late in the season and the team’s playoff loss to the Seahawks. He started 21 games in his first three seasons, making 155 tackles and intercepting five passes over that span.

The Dolphins added Byron Maxwell in a trade with the Eagles this week, but need more bodies at the position after releasing Brent Grimes.
