The Senior Bowl rosters are rounding into form, and on Friday, the game announced the addition of another quarterback to the roster.

Auburn’s Nick Marshall will play in the annual all-star contest in Mobile, Alabama, the game’s official Twitter feed said Friday.

Marshall (6-1, 210) threw for 2,532 yards with 20 TDs and seven picks as a senior for the Tigers, connecting on nearly 61 percent of his throws.

Marshall is one of six quarterbacks who have accepted invitations to the Senior Bowl. He is one of four passers currently listed on the South roster, with Alabama’s Blake Sims, Colorado State’s Garrett Grayson and East Carolina’s Shane Carden the others.

For the time being, the North roster has just two quarterbacks: Baylor’s Bryce Petty and Oregon State’s Sean Mannion. The game has also reportedly extended an invitation to Oregon’s Marcus Mariota, who declared for the draft this week.

According to the Titans’ website, Mariota will play for the North if he elects to attend the game. The Titans’ coaching staff will coach the North team, with the Jaguars’ coaches leading the South squad.

The Senior Bowl game will be held next Saturday, January 24. Game practices will be held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Practices can be an especially important part of a prospect’s week, as evaluators from around the league head to Mobile to see the players scrimmage in-person. Most evaluators typically head home before the game itself on Saturday.
