As the 3-1 49ers try to further improve their record against the 3-1 Buccaneers, San Fran may not have the services on Sunday of nose tackle Isaac Sopoaga.

The injury report, per Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com, discloses that Sopoaga has an infection. Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee reports that it’s a staph infection.

Sopoaga also has been used the past two weeks at times as a blocking back on offense.

Ruled out for Sunday’s game are receiver Braylon Edwards (knee), cornerback Tramaine Brock (hand), and fullback Moran Norris (fibula).
