With a supposedly massive, we’re-all-gonna-die snowstorm bearing down on the East Coast, the Patriots are making no special travel plans in advance of Sunday’s game.
Per the team, the plan remains to travel to Denver on Friday; snow is not expected to be an issue in Massachusetts until Saturday or Sunday. Even then, the snow is not expected to be as big of a problem in that area as it will be farther south.
In Denver, temperatures are expected to be in the low 40s, with no precipitation. In Charlotte, the forecast for Sunday current anticipates partly cloudy skies, with a high of 36.
It means that, barring a freak snowstorm in Santa Clara for the Super Bowl, there will have been one true snow game for the entire season -- the first meeting between the Patriots and Broncos, on Sunday Night Football.
