At this point, if you want to play in the Pro Bowl, just show up in Arizona and you might get your chance.

In addition to all the Patriots and Seahawks who aren’t going to be playing in next weekend’s all-star game, another has pulled out.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers won’t play this week because of his back injury.

Tom Brady’s out, after last night’s win. Manning and Ben Roethlisberger pulled out because of injuries, allowing first alternate Drew Brees to take one spot. Rivers as the second alternate was next in line. With third alternate Russell Wilson out because he’s busy, that left fourth alternate Matthew Stafford.

Colts Andrew Luck and Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo might be the only two of the original six picked at the position to play, since Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has the calf injury which would give him an easy out.

It’s just a matter of time before Ryan Lindley ends up in the game.
