Defensive end Damontre Moore has been a member of three teams since the start of last season, but he’ll likely need to make it four if he’s going to be on the field come September.

The Raiders waived Moore on Friday, three months after they signed him to their 90-man roster. Moore was previously with the Dolphins, who brought him on after he was dropped by the Giants last December following a locker room fight with then-teammate Cullen Jenkins.

Moore has shown flashes of pass rushing ability with 9.5 sacks over the last two seasons, but the Jenkins fight wasn’t his first off-field issue with the Giants and those issues may impact his chances of adding to that total.

The Raiders also announced that they have claimed cornerback Tramain Jacobs and linebacker Lenny Jones off of waivers. Jacobs was dropped by the Giants when they signed Leon Hall while Jones was an undrafted rookie with the 49ers before heading up to Oakland. Cornerback SaQwan Edwards was waived to round out the day’s transactions.
