Raiders shut out Chiefs, or was it A’s-Royals?

The Raiders had lost six straight, and are looking squarely at a top-five draft pick.

They looked dominant Sunday.

Faced with a Chiefs team that seemed allergic to yardage, the Raiders cruised to a 15-0 win on five Sebastian Janikowski field goals. Darren McFadden ran 30 times for 110 yards, mercifully keeping the clock moving as the Raiders improved to 4-10.

The Chiefs went on a rampage in the second half, gaining 102 yards after the break after posting 17 yards on 18 plays in the first half.

The loss drops the Chiefs to 2-12, firmly in contention for the top pick in the draft. That’s all that really matters any more there.
