Rams can’t trade for enough QBs, bring Case Keenum back

The Rams lead the league in quarterback trades.

After the early stunner of a Sam Bradford-for-Nick Foles deal, they’ve now done a much smaller deal.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Rams have sent a 2016 seventh-round pick to the Texans for Case Keenum.

Keenum spent part of last year on the Rams practice squad, and only returned to Houston when numerous injuries hit the Texans, so this gets him back to a place they know him.

At the moment, he and Austin Davis would be the only backups on the Rams roster behind Foles, since Shaun Hill is headed to the Vikings.
