The Packers almost had to play in Seattle on Sunday without one of the team’s starting wideouts.
Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reports that receiver Randall Cobb spent three hours in the hospital on Saturday night. Doctors suspected that Cobb had appendicitis.
He didn’t, and he’s active and ready to go in the game that starts in just a few minutes.Cobb is due to be a free agent in March. A big performance in the NFC title game (and possibly in the Super Bowl) could end up earning him a lot more than he would have made if he were recovering from surgery right now.
