Saints running back Reggie Bush widely was expected to play on Sunday against the Seahawks. On Saturday, he first heard that Bush may not make his return in Week 11. By Sunday, it became official.
Four days later, we’re told that Bush will play against the Cowboys (4:00 p.m. ET, FOX).
Listed as questionable, Bush is nine weeks and three days removed from a fractured fibula. The injury initially was pegged with a four-to-six-week recovery time.
That said, there’s a chance that Bush could have some sort of a setback during pregame warm-ups. At this point, that would be even more surprising than the fact that it took Bush 66 days to recover from the injury.
And when he plays, count on Bush to be 100 percent and fully involved in the offense.
