Report: Tannehill will dress, likely will start

If we’d told you two months ago that the biggest injury question for Week Nine would relate to the availability of quarterback Ryan Tannehill during a matchup of the 4-3 Dolphins and 4-3 Colts, you’d question our sanity and/or sobriety. (Then again, plenty of you routinely do that anyway.)

But that’s the case with the arrival of the ninth Sunday of the season. Tannehill is the name to watch at the early kickoffs approach.

According to Albert Breer of NFL Network, who’s in Indy for the game, Tannehill will dress and likely will start, despite a knee injury that has him listed as questionable on the injury report.

The issue is pain tolerance, which often is coaching code for “let’s see how tough this guy is.”

A decision as to Tannehill’s availability will be made during pregame warmups.

If Tannehill can’t go, the Dolphins will still be in good hands with Matt Moore, who played well enough in 2011 to be named the team’s MVP.
