The Patriots had every member of their team eligible to practice taking part in Friday’s session, including tight end Rob Gronkowski.

Gronkowski has not practiced since breaking his forearm late in New England’s 59-28 victory over the Colts last month. The injury required surgery to repair the break and Gronkowski has missed the last three games as a result.

Mary Paoletti of CSNNewEngland.com reports that Gronkowski was wearing long sleeves during the portion of practice open to the media, so there was no way to tell what kind of padding or brace, if any, might have been on his left arm. Paoletti also reports that Gronkowski appeared to keep his arm tucked close to his body while jogging.

The Patriots will release their injury report later Friday and it would seem likely that Gronkowski will be listed as a limited participant. What any of this means for his status for the game remains to be seen, although getting back to practice on Friday would set Gronkowski up to do more next week even if he isn’t able to play against the 49ers on Sunday night.
