When Rob Ryan was fired as Saints defensive coordinator earlier this year, his twin brother Rex said it “would be fun” for the two men to work together at some point in the future.
Since Rex is the head coach of the Bills, there were more than a few people who wondered whether he might find a place on his staff for his brother. The sight of Rob in Bills gear at a Bills practice is the sort of thing that would probably lead even more people to wonder about that possibility.
That’s just where Rob was on Wednesday. Multiple reporters passed along word that he was at practice dressed in team garb with Mike Rodak of ESPN.com passing along a photo. Alex Marvez of FOX Sports reports that he was just visiting his twin and has not joined the staff in Buffalo.
If that were to change, it wouldn’t be their first time working together in the NFL. The two brothers worked together on their father Buddy’s staff with the Cardinals in 1994 and 1995.
