Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Griffin’s pursuit of a new job hinges as a threshold matter on what happens with Brock Osweiler in Denver. Then, after Osweiler makes a decision, other dominoes may fall.
Ultimately, no one will be handing Griffin a starting job. He’ll have to compete, and he’ll have to thrive, in order to earn playing time. Precisely where that occurs remains to be seen.
While it would be a shock to see Griffin not get another chance, whether he can become the guy he once was represents an uphill climb for Griffin, wherever he ends up.
