If the bride doesn’t show for the wedding they still have the reception, don’t they?
They don’t?
Well, disregard that and know this -- even though we’re Favreless in Mankato, there’s still stuff to cover.
Like . . . the reaction to Favre not being in Mankato.
Speaking outside his dorm as many Vikings checked in, the man twisting in the wind was pleased to be cut down.
“I’m happy it’s over with and it’s good it happened before training camp to give us an extra day to catch our breath. Before we go to work,” Sage Rosenfels said Wednesday.
Rosenfels was asked if he was bothered that teammates lobbied Brett Favre.
“This is the NFL. I’m a pro, those guys are pros. I’ve been so busy that fortunately I minimized all my contact with sports stuff. I think you’d go insane in my position keeping up with it day to day.”
[Editor’s note: Welcome back to PFT Planet, Sage.]
Rosenfels isn’t interested in talking about what could have been.
“I’m not going into what could happen, what may happen, what did happen. In these last three months, nothing happened, really. The Minnesota Vikings are right back where we were three months ago.”
