Rosenhaus Bags Another Client

With the slow summer days of the NFL news cycle here, one source of information shows no signs of slowing down: Agent Drew Rosenhaus’ Twitter page. Rosenhaus announced Monday that he has signed Oakland Raiders left tackle Mario Henderson as a new client. Henderson, a third-round pick in 2007, held his own after taking over for Kwame Harris for the final three games of last season. Henderson didn’t give up a sack as a starter, and JaMarcus Russell enjoyed the best stretch of his short career. Left tackle has been a revolving door for Oakland since second overall pick Robert Gallery failed to stick at the position. (It’s also been a turnstile for opposing pass rushers.) Henderson will have to hold off free agent acquisition Khalif Barnes to finally give Oakland some stability. If Henderson can keep the job, a request for a new contract isn’t likely to be far behind.
