Earlier this year, agent Drew Rosenhaus created a stir by sending an e-mail to all teams explaining that some of his guys were available via trade. The problem? Some of them hadn’t received permission to shop themselves. So Rosenhaus is now using a new technology to spread the word to all 32 teams -- and anyone else who’s interested in listening -- regarding guys who want to be dealt. Recently, Rosenhaus reiterated via Twitter his belief that Cardinals receiver Anquan Boldin will be traded. Earlier this evening, Rosenhaus continued to stir the pot on Twitter for another one of his Cardinals clients -- defensive tackle Darnell Dockett. “While the Cardinals insist they won’t trade him,” Rosenhaus said, “I feel several teams would give up a 1st round pick and more for my client Darnell Dockett.” As Rosenhaus explained in the wake of the e-mail controversy, there’s no rule that prevents him from trying to instigate a trade, either by contacting teams directly or taking a megaphone to the middle of the street. The assertion from Rosenhaus confirms recent reports that Dockett wants out, due to dissatisfaction with his five-year, $22 million contract.
