With Saints cornerback Keenan Lewis suffering from a knee injury that left his knee looking like something other than a knee, the Saints have added another body in the secondary.
Per a league source, the Saints have signed safety Jamarca Sanford.
Sanford, released two weeks ago by Washington, spent his first five NFL seasons with the Vikings. He has appeared in 70 regular-season games, with 44 starts.
The Saints host the Bengals on Sunday.
