Buccaneers tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins, whose rough month has included being thrown off the practice field and squabbling with fans on Twitter. He apologized for both incidents.

In an apparent effort to avoid a repeat of the latter, Seferian-Jenkins swore of Twitter (as noted by JoeBucsFan.com).

“Really lived a blessed life right only right that I give back,” Seferian-Jenkins said. “I’m done tweeting till the playoffs w. We in there.”

The self-imposed Twitter ban lasted an hour.

Drake c breezy ain’t got nothing on me lol,” he said an hour later. He thereafter responded to tweets from three different accounts.

None of this is relevant to his football ability. But to the extent the Bucs and new coach Dirk Koetter may currently by trying to figure out whether Seferian-Jenkins “gets it,” this would be a slice of evidence that perhaps he doesn’t.
