The Redskins have made it official -- offensive tackle Trent Williams, the fourth overall pick in the draft, officially is a member of the team.
And a former fourth overall pick in the draft, Mike Williams, isn’t. At least for this year.
The team announced that Mike Williams has been placed on the reserve/non-football illness list. Williams, who made an impressive return to the NFL last year with the Redskins after several seasons out of football, reportedly has blood clots near his heart.
It’s unknown whether Mike Williams developed the blood clots from doing 300-yard shuttle runs.
