Stefon Diggs doesn’t practice on Wednesday

Vikings rookie phenom Stefon Diggs seemed to be hobbled a bit late in Sunday’s win over the Bears. And he was.

Diggs didn’t practice on Wednesday, due to a hamstring injury.

Durability was one of the knocks on the relatively diminutive Diggs, who slid all the way to round five. He has since outperformed that slot, but now for the first time his availability is an issue.

The good news for the Vikings is that running back Adrian Peterson has exited the injury report, after being listed last week with finger, hip, and ankle injuries. Although if that’s the Indiana-style injury report exit, it could mean that Peterson has broken ribs.

Also missing practice on Wednesday for the Vikings were linebacker Anthony Barr (back), center Joe Berger (chest), defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd (knee, ankle), and linebacker Eric Kendricks (ribs).
