Perhaps taking a trip to New England made Washington think twice about the value of Terrance Knighton.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the man known as Pot Roast will visit his current team tomorrow after today’s trip to see the Patriots.

Knighton started 15 games for Washington last year after a productive two-year stint with Denver. The 29-year-old has value as a run-stopper, and has the kind of physical frame (6-foot-3, 354 pounds) that’s hard to replace.

Washington may have realized that overnight, or at least let the Patriots do some negotiating for them to see what Knighton’s worth on the open market.
