The Houston Texans claimed offensive lineman Oday Aboushi off waivers from the New York Jets a day on Wednesday.

The Jets waived Aboushi after the conclusion of his one-game suspension for a violation of the league’s substance abuse policy.

Aboushi will re-join offensive line coach Mike Devlin in Houston, who spent the previous two seasons coaching the Jets.

Aboushi started 10 games for the Jets last season.
