Texans to practice with Falcons, Broncos

OBrien

Some teams like joint training-camp practices against other teams. Others don’t.

The Texans under coach Bill O’Brien apparently do. A lot.

The Texans have announced that they’ll conduct joint training-camp practices with two different franchises -- the Falcons and the Broncos.

Atlanta and Houston will work out together on August 13 and 14 before playing a preseason game on August 16. The next week, the Texans will travel to Colorado several days before a preseason game against the Broncos for three total practice on August 19 through August 21.

The Texans haven’t held joint training-camp practices since 2010, with the Saints. Previously, the Texans and Broncos practiced jointly from 2003 through 2005. In 2002, Houston’s first season in the league, joint training-camp practices occurred with the Cowboys.
