The Broncos defensive line is in trouble

T. Warren

We mentioned Tuesday morning that Broncos free agent pickup Ty Warren could have a serious triceps injury.

Denver’s worst fears were realized: Warren tore his triceps muscle, which usually knocks a player out for the season. Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports the Broncos are “discussing options” about what to do and have “not given up” on the chance Warren could play this year.

(Which means there is a good chance Warren won’t play.)

Warren was expected to start next to Marcus Thomas, who was also hurt Monday. He will miss the rest of the preseason with a strained pectoral muscle, but hopes to be ready for the season opener.

Yeah, it’s a safe bet the Raiders are going to run the ball plenty in Week One.
