The Titans have added some potential competition at right tackle.

Tennessee has reached a deal with Panthers offensive tackle Byron Bell, the team announced Wednesday afternoon.

The 26-year-old Bell started 56-of-62 games for the Panthers from 2011 through 2014, with 15 starts at left tackle a season ago. However, the majority of his experience has been at right tackle, and he’ll join Byron Stingily as primary veteran options at the position for Tennessee. Bell’s ability to play left tackle in a pinch also doesn’t hurt his value in his attempt to earn a role.

Bell was No. 114 in PFT’s free agent rankings.
