TRAVIS HENRY PLEADS NOT GUILTY

Former NFL running back Travis Henry pleaded not guilty on Thursday to federal cocaine trafficking charges. Apparently, Henry has already violated the terms of his bond on at least one occasion. The basis for the violation isn’t known. “The conditions for release are not optional,” Magistrate Judge Carolyn Ostby told Henry, who played for the Broncos, Titans, and Bills. “Your pretrial release can be revoked.” Along with codefendant James Mack, Henry faces one charge of conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to distribute and two charges of possession with intent to distribute and distribution of cocaine. Henry and Mack were arrested via a sting operation resulting from the arrest of one of their associates, who then agreed to help authorities nail the other two.
