Aaron Dobson and DeAndre Carter weren’t the only wide receivers dropped from the Patriots roster on Saturday.

Those moves were reported earlier in the day and they were joined on the discard pile by Keshawn Martin, Chris Harper and 2016 seventh-round pick Devin Lucien when the Patriots officially announced the moves they made to reach the 53-man roster limit. Lucien is one of two 2016 draft picks to get cut, joining sixth-round linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill. The Patriots also cut 2015 third-round defensive lineman Geneo Grissom and 2015 seventh-round defensive back Darryl Roberts.

Running back Tyler Gaffney and defensive lineman Markus Kuhn were also among the 20 players dropped from the roster. Gaffney joined the Patriots on waivers in 2014 and spent the last two seasons on injured reserve while Kuhn was signed as a free agent this offseason.

The Patriots also parted ways with offensive lineman Chris Barker, linebacker Rufus Johnson, defensive back Vinnie Sunseri, defensive lineman Joe Vellano, offensive lineman Jon Halapio, running back Joey Iosefa, linebacker Kevin Snyder, defensive lineman Woodrow Hamilton, cornerback Cre’von LeBlanc and tight end Bryce Williams.
