Months after Broncos cornerback Perrish Cox was arrested for rape, details regarding the charges have emerged.

According to Carlos Illescas of the Denver Post, the alleged victim claims she was drugged and raped by Cox on September 6. The alleged victim has since had a child, and DNA tests confirmed that Cox is the father.

The alleged victim reportedly told police she consumed roughly four drinks on the evening of September 5 and into September 6, and that she believed she’d been drugged because she passed out at Cox’s apartment.

She claims that Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas and Broncos cornerback Cassius Vaughan were present. The alleged victim reportedly recalls kissing and being fondled by Thomas, who claims he left Cox’s apartment after the alleged victim passed out.

Cox is charged with sexual assault while the victim was physically helpless and sexual assault while the victim was incapable of determining the nature of the conduct, and he faces two years to life in prison.
