The Vikings have retained one of their reserve offensive linemen, re-signing restricted free agent offensive tackle Mike Harris on Tuesday, the club said.
The Vikings had tendered Harris a contract before the start of the new league year last week, which allowed them to match any offer to the fourth-year pro. However, Harris is now off the market.
The 26-year-old Harris started five games in place of the injured Phil Loadholt at the end of the 2014 regular season. A UCLA product, Harris (6-5, 318) has made 33 career regular season appearances, making 17 starts. He played his first two NFL seasons with San Diego (2012-2013).
