NFL Network analyst Warren Sapp has been teasing some Buccaneers news which he was going to reveal on air Thursday.

(We were hoping the announcement was that he was filming a romantic comedy/buddy cop movie with Michael Strahan.)

This morning, he let the cat out of the bag, announcing on Twitter that his old team was getting a new helmet.

It apparently has a “#ChromeGrill,” which would be an interesting possibility, and possibly taking them back to something as garish as the old Creamsicle uniforms.

The team has added to the announcement, saying they’ll have a new logo as well, the first redesign for the team since 1997.
