Five days after suffering a chest injury against the Saints, Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb will take the field again when Arizona faces the Chiefs.

Per the Associated Press, Kolb was limited in practice Tuesday with an injury that initially was called a rib contusion and that then was called a bruised chest and that now is being called bruised ribs.

''He’s still a little sore,’' Whisenhunt said. “But I don’t anticipate there being any problems as we progress through the week.”

The Cardinals are working out with the Chiefs this week in advance of the game to be played at Arrowhead Stadium.

Kolb and John Skelton are battling for the starting job. The winner could end up simply securing the privilege of being the first guy benched.
