Winston Moss resurfaces as a possible candidate for Raiders job

With current Raiders coach Tom Cable currently twisting slowly in the breeze like a side of beef hanging next to the primary cooling vent of a meat locker, possible candidates for the job Cable holds currently are emerging.

According to Steve Wyche of NFL.com, the Raiders “could strongly consider” Packers assistant head coach/inside linebackers coach Winston Moss.

Moss interviewed for the job last year, when owner Al Davis was deciding whether to remove the “interim” tag from Cable.

And Moss wouldn’t be a perfunctory Rooney Rule candidate; Davis hired Art Shell at a time when there were no black head coaches in the NFL.
